I think I like these rear pins more than the rear stop pins. Do not get me wrong! The locking pin backs are very secure and I love how well they hold onto my pins. I would carry my treasured Disney pins entirely on my clothing or backpack without worrying about the pins falling ONLY IF they were secured with a locking pin on the back. BUT.!. These butterfly pen backs are more ideal for regular use. For example, toggle them on and off for those pins you still like but want to use to trade. The back of the butterfly pin holds the pin very well, but is much easier to remove from the pin compared to the back of the locking pin. The back of a butterfly pin or the rubber back of a Mickey pin? Oh my god, hands down, butterfly needle back. No more lost pins, that's for sure.
