Review on πŸ”Ž YZM Stainless Steel 304 Single Scale Liquid Filled Pressure Gauge: Brass Internals for Reliable Test, Measurement & Inspection by Haggis Bryant

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good caliber, but use a lot of Teflon when assembling.

You need to do 5 full turns of teflon tape around the gauge fitting before you put the garden hose adapter on it and then pull it all the way down, it seems like you can't turn it anymore or it stops. This was the only way to stop the leak. The main reason for the leak is that you have a steel fitting and a brass fitting, both of which must be made of the same material, which is why I gave it four stars. Also refer to the label on the side of the gauge for drilling a vent hole in the rubber plug at the top of the gauge or cutting off the tip of the plug. From this point on, the pressure gauge must be installed or held vertically so that no oil escapes. If you don't vent, the gauge will go high first and then gradually lower, but that can't be good for the gauge. Everything seems accurate, but I haven't checked with other sensors.
