Review on πŸ—‘οΈ Masahiro Handcrafted Sword Whetstone Sharpening by Ben Diesel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For my sharpening needs, this is the solution!

I am new to using whetstones, I wasn't sure how coarse I should use my kitchen knives so I ended up with this set (400 grit, 1000, 3000 grit), the royal whetstone ( 6000 grit) and natural whetstone (12000 grit). And after using them all a few times I found this set was good enough to get knives razor sharp. The King 6000 grit doesn't seem much different from the 3000 grit, let alone the 12000 grit, it polishes the blade rather than sharpening it. So if like me you are new to the world of sharpening I would highly recommend this set not only because it has sharpened all my knives well but also because the quality of these sharpening stones, especially the wooden box, really makes them a pair . good storage boxes. If you have searched for sharpening stones, you will find that these sharpening stone sets are in a really cheap price range. I think I will get another set for my sister soon. In short, quality, 5 performance, 5 cost, 5 (compared to other similar grit bars). If I knew better I would buy these two sharpening stones and be done with them so I can save the money I spent on a higher grit sharpening stone for something else.
