I'm still working on the curves.

As one of the first users, I expected growth problems. I'm still having an issue where the motherboard won't let me boot into the BIOS with a displayport cable, only with HDMI. Also, still try to find out the cause of the slow startup problem even if "Fast Startup" is enabled. The boot time via SATA SSD is about 45 seconds. Finally, a really weird Lightingservices bug where some game anti-cheat programs detect AURA lighting on motherboards as a game cheat. no i'm not kidding. I had to force quit a task in services so certain games could bypass it. Crazy. Otherwise, the latest bios is much more stable than the default bios. I can overclock my 3700X to 4.3GHz for all cores. Not sure if it's the motherboard or the CPU, but my 3700X seems to be requiring excessive voltage. 1.44V for stable operation at 4.3GHz. Any below and it's a blue screen. I hope the BIOS fixes things in the future. But with Precision Boost 2 it was stable. I just want to find the optimal CPU voltage/temperature value. The heatsink fan on the mainboard is inaudible for those concerned. I chose STRIX X570-E because I'm familiar with ASUS BIOS and I've never had major problems with this brand. Anyone who buys an X570 this early should be prepared for a few kinks. Usually it is like this. Hopefully I'll update my 4 star rating as things improve. But for the price, I think they should be a little more ready for prime time.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
