Malfunction. good for rough installs
After a few showers the end of the plate cylinder with the hot water seal broke off, blocking water flow on the hot side and reducing overall shower flow. This part was soldered to the original valve stem, but not to this one. I decided to replace it with another one from a local hardware store that works fine.
