Review on HHIP 3900 2013 Ultra Precision Toolmakers by Mike Roe

This vise is beautifully machined and precision ground. Checked mine for parallelism, everything works. Landings are comfortable and tight. The edges might be a bit broken as they are very sharp when delivered. The screw can easily back out too far, causing the jaw to come loose. It can be quite tricky trying to connect it together without removing the vise. A small problem, but you must be careful to loosen the vise. I might change the design of this mount a bit to either avoid over-extracting the bolt or to better keep the nut in line with the vise if over-extracted. I would definitely buy this again.
