For spares I prefer OEM. Replacement filters for our DC25 were significantly more expensive than filters from other manufacturers. So much so that I spent an hour or two studying and comparing. I went with these filters and although they are cheaper they seem to work just as well. The gasket on the exhaust filter is not glued on which can cause some problems but I had no problem installing it and getting my screaming Dyson back to normal vacuum. Finally my wife and I can talk while cleaning instead of yelling at each other. We have been using original filters since we bought the vacuum cleaner almost 10 years ago. Maybe I missed the part of the instructions where it says the filters need to be washed/washed every 1-3 months? Anyway, when it comes time to replace them, I'm sure I won't have any problem buying them again.
