Worked great in my 2006 Ford Explorer. Not an easy replacement. It took a few hours and the arduous effort of an amateur like me. FYI, this part is on the lower left side of the console for radio, air traffic control, etc. While driving, look near your right foot. Small wrenches are hard to get in and out of, but if I can do it, so can you. The auto shop called me about three hundred for it, so I tried it myself. Also, if you hear a loud bang, like someone hitting the console from inside, there's a good chance you need that part and your warmth. /air no longer works. It was a really scary sound when you weren't expecting it.
