Review on Vornado VFAN Vintage Circulator Green Heating, Cooling & Air Quality by Dee Mills

I returned the first one because it kept making various noises of ringing, grinding and banging. With the second everything was fine for some time, but now, after 4 months, it also twitches and the speed increases or decreases, sometimes to a standstill. Completely unacceptable for a $60 fan. Update: I contacted Vornado about their offer and they promptly sent me a replacement (they couldn't offer a refund as it wasn't purchased directly from them). Good customer service but we'll see how long the new fan lasts and I'll upgrade when enough time has passed (or it'll be a rattling noisy mess too). Update on my update: The replacement Vornado sent me has now also started making the same annoying rattle. This one probably lasted a bit longer, maybe 6 months, but still absolutely not worth the price for anything other than a retro paperweight.
