Fast and Quiet Scanner

This scanner seems to work fine without too many settings, you need to download the Plustek BookMaker app and use the scanner, you MUST go through this software. This was the only negative point for me as I see it as a weak link. First the positives: Setup was easy, no issues downloading the software and trying to get it working the first time. The scanner worked very quietly and efficiently. The automatic scanning process assumes multiple pages and gives you a countdown to the next page, or you can cancel. (This can be seen as a disadvantage if you don't move to the next page quickly enough, or if you abandon the next page.) It seemed fairly easy to export the files to where I wanted them. It seemed pretty easy to rename the files. It scans up to 8.5 x 11 inches. The software works, but the user interface is clunkier than it should be and not very intuitive. It's easy to get used to. about the longevity of the software as Windows continues to release updates.
