I am a pharmaceutical researcher. I've been measuring pH professionally for over 20 years of my life, using both far more advanced and far less advanced equipment than this. I bought this to get a more accurate pH reading in my jellyfish tank than the old fashioned color indicators. be. But I haven't even gotten to the point of comparing the results it gave me to what I got at work to see exactly how close that is. I couldn't even calibrate the thing. It seems to read the first pH buffer ok, but when you follow the instructions for buffer 2 it doesn't work as it should and just re-reads your buffer 1. I've been trying this for about 20 minutes with no success. Unless I, a professional chemist with years of experience and more than a hobbyist, can calibrate it in 20 minutes. Keep looking, this one won't help you.
