Okay, the only reason to choose these washcloths over the rest is the suction cups. They work great, ready to use, on a perfectly clean and smooth surface. (Wet them first for better suction) Of course I cleaned the area before applying and they really sucked up. I had to work hard on it and eventually slide it off the edge of the sink to pull it off. Life goes on though, and although I'm a bit of a cleaning freak, I sometimes even spray a little and sometimes the counter isn't freshly washed. Those times don't last long. I found it lying in the sink more than once so I gave up and put it in a drawer. If I wanted it to be on the side or next to the sink I would go with one that didn't have suction cups. Overall, this is a good and comfortable cleaning brush. This feature works well, no complaints. I don't usually use suction cups on objects because they always land on the ground if you move away from them, and this is no different. I figured my gleaming granite would hold up, given that it was already on solid ground, but it wouldn't. It just tips over instead of falling off the wall. Well, at least it works like an exfoliant.
