I bought two sets of these bottles. It's heavy glass, not fragile flimsy or cheap. I use them for water. But the set I gave my mother for her birthday is used very differently. She's an elderly woman and no longer cooks for a large family, so she decided to use them to store some of the brown and white sugar she rarely uses. Also lots of garlic and onion powder. She also likes the sugar and cinnamon mix and thinks it looks very pretty in those bottles. They are stylish and easy to clean, lift and handle. They don't take up much space on the table, since their height exceeds their width. I am currently considering another set to accommodate the large amount of spices I use. I buy large spice jars from Costco and while the plastic looks nice, these bottles would look great on my over-the-stove spice rack. I will update this review if it works and I think it fits. Edit: 8/4/16 These bottles are great for storing Costco sized condiments. They are even the same size as vinegar/oil dispenser bottles.
