Sound and mic error on two devices

After correct installation with one device I can clearly hear the beep sound through my headset(s) which was also heard through the microphone when the mic was used to chat Other. I decided it was a bug, but after returning it, ordering a different unit and carefully reinstalling it, the same audio feedback was heard again. Unfortunately, all other features work perfectly and as intended. It's just that now you have to manually switch the audio/mic back and forth through each computer. Audio feedback can be described as a constant and consistent chirp. Didn't go away after diagnosing all connections and multiple audio inputs.
