Well they work! I bought these for our 26ft trailer and attached one to every water hose/drain I could access. I put a paper towel underneath so all the water in that area was absorbed by the towel and the sensor went off. Driving through a particularly bumpy PNW mountain pass, we stopped to stretch after our knuckles turned white. As I got out of the car, I heard the alarm. The alarm was loud enough to be heard over the diesel engine and a handful of cars passing behind us. Luckily only water squirted out of the toilet and flushed easily. I'm grateful we stopped, but also that I had them and the water could be cleaned up within minutes of the spill rather than hours after arriving at the destination! By the way, the toilet was clean. After cleaning I added extra water to the bowl to allow it to evaporate during the hottest months to keep the seal moist. We got water at the destination so I didn't fill it up at home and put a filter on the tanks before leaving.
