This product has two major drawbacks. First, it's a saw blade. It's 0.8mm. wide. If you are cutting a small 2.0mm thick JR, consider how much of that JR you are going to cut! Replace the blade with a good one. I bought one from Otto Frey, part number 143.098. The next thing you may need is a screw to screw the vertical part of the handle to the base. For some reason they don't offer this screw. This is a M8-1.0 pan head screw with a length of 15mm. Those two things aside, it works well and is a lot cheaper than what you see from jewelry suppliers, even with the two essentials above.
