Review on Braun Series 7 Electric Shaver Replacement Head - 70S - Compatible with Electric Razors 790cc, 760cc, 7850cc, 7865cc, 7880cc, 7893s, 740s by Renee Thomas

I've been using Braun 7 series shavers for 10 years now. I recently replaced the foil after 2 years, which is a little longer than recommended by the manufacturer. I ordered a new slide and within a month it broke which I haven't seen in the last 9 years of use. I sent the defective foil back and received a replacement in early August. Yesterday I noticed that the replacement foil was torn in the same way as the previous blade. Revain was kind enough to give me a grace period to replace the first blade. But it's clear now that I have no reprieve for the second blade, and I don't expect Revane to necessarily have that kind of understanding. I find it difficult to explain how such a high quality product that has served me well for 10 years suddenly displayed what seems to be quite enduring in its beautiful history of craftsmanship. I would not recommend buying a Braun 7 series shaver, I just hope this issue doesn't affect any of the other shavers with a similar blade attachment. In the attached picture you can see a large defect in the upper left corner and a smaller defect in the lower center. After this review I see that others had the same problem. Looks like PG wanted to cut costs when buying Brown. :(
