I have a "large size" Thera Cane that I love. I wanted something smaller that I can take to the office or when I travel. The Gaiam Pinpoint back massager seemed to be the perfect size, but unfortunately the quality and shape of the cane didn't work for me. The material is strong enough but the ball has a rough edge/seam that scratches (this seam is not visible in the photos so I think they touched up the photos). I figured I could probably sand and smooth it, but the biggest issue is the shape of this hook. It looks more like a question mark than an inverted "J" like Thera Cane. The difference is that the question mark shape makes the grip too close to the body, making it difficult to maneuver. Also, the Gaiam handle is square and not that comfortable to hold (Thera Cane is round and smooth).
