Is this device functional, yes. I found it stuck well and the lid swung back and forth quite easily. It wasn't what I expected aesthetically. The images made me think it was metallic turquoise; but in reality it is pure green foam. I was worried it would be so thin it wouldn't be secure, but I tested it in conference mode and when it's closed you can see a "slight" glow through the plastic, but no image. Overall it gets the job done but doesn't intend to make a style statement.
