This is an economical yet reliable solution when you need to lock your bike in a public place. The cable section is by no means thick enough to hold someone who really wants your bike. I wouldn't leave my bike with this lock overnight in critical locations, but this lock is fantastic if you're strolling around downtown and stopping somewhere for a coffee or lunch. It comes with a fixed combination, which means you can't set a more memorable combination for yourself. Make sure you mark the four numbers somewhere (maybe on your phone?) so you don't look like an idiot trying to steal your own bike!
