When I repurchased these 2 teardrops I thought they would last as long as the original bulbs. (2006 and 2016) I put 1 in my car and 1 in my truck. About a year later, the one in the car stopped working and I replaced it with another brand. The one in the truck still worked, but I drive the truck less than 100 miles a month. I was shocked to see that when my daughter borrowed the truck as she was about to drive off I noticed that the third brake light was not working. Luckily I was able to stop it and reinstall the original lightbulb which I kept just in case. It will be replaced by another brand.
