Review on 💦 VIP50 Wayne Thermoplastic Portable Electric Water Removal Pump for Efficient Water Extraction by Ben Robinson

I haven't used this pump much because the bottom cracked the first time. I found that they have great customer service. After a short phone call, they send me a new pump under warranty. About a 2 minute wait, just a few basic questions and a nice person. I know for a fact that this pump pumps water - it pumped like this for several minutes until a crack appeared and grew around the screw holding the base in place. It began to leak heavily as this pump pumps water under high pressure. The body and base feel pretty sturdy, not flimsy at all. Feels like a well made product. Lighter and much easier to move around than my old pump. The handle at the top is part of the reason. This is a stronger pin than it appears in the picture. The pump is well balanced when lifted by the handle. My guess is that a small, imperceptible crack appeared when the screw was tightened with a power tool during assembly. Who knows. They swapped it and I'm happy. I would buy another pump from them. I didn't give 5 stars because I didn't have enough experience with it.
