Cool little pump!

Great little pump! Almost silent! Why can't my regular pool pump be that quiet? Drain a 15,000 gallon 8 foot deep pool overnight. The 1-1/4" outlet is threaded and a garden hose adapter is included, but I didn't want to use a garden hose for the amount of water I needed to pump. For some reason it was difficult to find a threaded adapter that actually fits this pump. Two trips to the local pool shop and scouring through the back room parts store we found a working threaded connection and addedโ€ฆ

Quiet pump does a good job and is worth the money

Sometimes when I plug this pump into an extension cord and turn it on I can't immediately tell if it's running when it turns on so quietly. This thing empties my 100 gallon aquarium in no time. I bought a mesh bag to put on so it doesn't suck up plant leaves (or my fish, haha). You can find them here at Revain for around $11. The only criticism is that the cable is too short. I would prefer a 30 foot cord so I don't have to lift the cord out of the water when hoovering a large flood in theโ€ฆ

Excellent customer service

I haven't used this pump much because the bottom cracked the first time. I found that they have great customer service. After a short phone call, they send me a new pump under warranty. About a 2 minute wait, just a few basic questions and a nice person. I know for a fact that this pump pumps water - it pumped like this for several minutes until a crack appeared and grew around the screw holding the base in place. It began to leak heavily as this pump pumps water under high pressure. The bodyโ€ฆ

Copes with its task, does not clog, does not fail.

I bought this pump because I had a chronic problem with standing water in my driveway with a rain drain/overflow. When it rained heavily, the plains were flooded with water. So I decided to hook up a 50 foot garden hose to this pump and get the water off my property. Considering I rented a bigger pump and a $70 2-inch fire hose for the day from Home Depot, this little guy has made my life better. multiple refunds. I've used it for pumping over 20 times this season, the blades clog the hole atโ€ฆ

Great pump...but one wasn't enough.

We bought a house to live in for 2 years, renovate and/or renovate and sell to avoid capital gains. Everyone said there were no water problems in the area, but when we saw the ring around the basement wall and everything written on the bricks, it was key that the whole truth wasn't being told. The city was situated in a mountain valley and apparently had several underground waterways running through it, and as soon as the first spring thaw set in we realized we had a problem. Water began toโ€ฆ

Non-repairable product for rough plumbing

I don't really know why the tabs holding the base to the case are broken. When I contacted the manufacturer I was told there were no replacement parts, I should just buy a new one. You can purchase a new gasket from a third-party manufacturer. Also, over time it loses its ability to give good pressure (I hope you have a laugh) I almost bring it to the limit so that the water does not flow too quickly, but after a few years (2100 out of 10,000 nominal cycles) it has problems with the waterโ€ฆ

  • The list will be long.
