I desperately needed that extra RAM.

My Mac was having problems freezing and it was taking a long time to process a simple web page. So I bought this and now it flies better. Not very good, since new operating systems come out from time to time, which require more and more memory. But I don't have to wait like 5 minutes for a webpage to load, and I don't have to wait for one of my PC games to load. almost aimless. The container faced the bottom of the box, and all the protective material pushed out the bottom of the box, exposing the RAM chips to the danger of traveling with USPS standard shipping.
