I am a computer engineer with over 25 years of experience. I only bought this computer to troubleshoot PCs and connect to a remote server. The company that refurbishes these PCs is doing a great job. The PC itself looks like new. So much so that it was hard to tell apart from the three brand new PCs I had on the workbench. I bought it with the understanding that it comes with a hard drive and not a solid state drive. When I got the PC I booted it up once to make sure it was working and then replaced the HDD with an SSD. Now the PC is very fast and does everything I need it to do. If you can't replace the hard drive with a solid state drive, I recommend looking for a model that comes with a solid state drive first. Another problem is the name of the product. Although it says "Dell Optiplex 2016" on the product. It clearly states that it was built on a computer case in 2014, so the PC is 4 years old, not 2 years old. So if you buy it believing it was made in 2016 you will be disappointed. I have no idea what 2016 is referring to in the title. Am I glad I bought this computer? Absolutely! But you MUST replace the HDD with an SSD to make this PC great.
