My son had these installed with LED bulbs last weekend. They look absolutely gorgeous crystal clear. They replaced the old, muddy looking, ugly 20 year old almost factory GMC headlights. The front end now looks almost like new. It took you a little time to install them. To save you the trouble, you may need to adjust the headlights a bit with a hex screwdriver before attempting to install them on the truck. Because one of the headlights was a bit off and didn't want to go in. My son found that all he had to do was adjust it with a hex screwdriver and she repositioned the headlight in its own mounting housing and he was then able to fit it into the truck grille to install it. After that it was very easy to insert this driver's side. Had he known this, he could have installed both sides in about 15 minutes using the separately purchased LED lights. So remember, if you have trouble installing, adjust the small brass hex head screws. There are two of them. It is not easier to place the lamps in the grate. This also allows you to fine-tune the alignment of your lights after installation is complete. Just FYI if you are going to put LED bulbs in an old truck I just found out that you need to replace the old hazard light/turn signal controller under the dash. with improved LED controller. If you don't do this, some lamps will not work or not always. And your dash turn signals are flashing at a hundred miles an hour. This is just advice that probably no one will tell you and you will have to learn through trial and error or on YouTube.
