Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One Black by Kio Lee ᠌

Acquired for TV in a room of 16m2. Connect via HDMI ARC. I didn’t decide right away, it turns out that it was necessary to enable the sound output function via HDMI on the TV in the settings. The volume is enough, but the sound itself does not produce any WOW effect. Yes, it has become much better compared to the saucepan sound of the speakers built into the TV. But bass and volume is not felt. Of course, there is no full-fledged subwoofer here, and I understood that there would be no serious bass, but my little JBL Flip 4, in my opinion, works out the bass and, in general, the sound is much better. It is curious, but when playing music via bluetooth from a smartphone, this soundbar sounds more thoroughbred, the bass plays more noticeably and the high frequencies are more pleasant. When watching an on-air TV - music channel, the sound is already changing, not so saturated. In general, I expected a slightly more serious sound quality from the purchase. There is something to compare with, it was possible to listen to a truly high-quality sound. In this regard, the price of 8000+ seems a bit overpriced. Probably 5-6 thousand - that's her range. Tightening the equalizer will not work, it does not exist. And the equalizer built into the TV becomes inactive when this soundbar is connected. Otherwise - pairing, connecting, switching between BT and TV - everything is excellent, intuitive and minimalistic. Summing up - the sound from the TV, of course, has become much better and more pleasant. But in general, I expected better sound from the device (especially after getting acquainted with JBL portable speakers and some other more expensive speakers). It was not possible to fully test before the purchase. For now, I'll leave it to myself. Perhaps, when I mature, I will get something more serious and in a different price segment. It is a pity that the location of the TV does not allow connecting a bar with a subwoofer. This bar is suitable for not very sophisticated listeners. But once we hear a really good sound, we all become tempted.
