This has worked well. We had purchased an expensive, very cushy bed, but our dog didn't like the squishy cushioning in it. He walked on it a couple of times and got right off. I wasn't sure if he would like this one, because it has plenty of cushion in it. He seems to be very pleased with it, walked on it and immediately laid down and uses it frequently. My only complaint is that I wish the color was more grey instead of a blue-grey.
