This is the first memory foam pillow I bought and using. The pillow arrived neatly packed and full of memory shredded foam. I like to sleep on a flatter pillow so I removed almost half of the stuffing. I noticed that the memory foam flattens to the bottom after you head rest on it. The amount of foam filled will be your adjusted height. I am still trying to get used to a memory foam pillow after sleeping on the buckwheat pillow for over 15 years. I am using a combination of both during this pillow transition stage. I have some neck pains and don't know if it's my pillow height needs to be reduced more. The quality is great and this pillow feels nice and soft. I put a pillow covering over it to keep the white soft cover clean. I would rate this as 4-4.5 but I gave a 5 STAR because of the quality and the amount of extra foam which can possible make another small pillow. I am not blaming any neck issues yet.
