Original Honda trailing arm bushings are bad. They will all break at this point and your suspension will start chattering. This energy suspension bushing replaces the OEM rubber bushing. The energy suspension is a reliable, high-quality and inexpensive replacement. I installed it on my 1991 Honda Civic DX hatchback and 1998 Honda Civic LX sedan. Worked great. The installation is quite complicated and takes 4 to 8 hours. Most of the time you will be cutting, sanding and removing the old rubber bushing. This works on all 1988 thru 2000 Civics of all models. They all use the same trailing arm bushings.
