Shown is my original straw cleaner (left) and this product (right). This is probably fine for straight straws, but if you have curved, longer straws like mine, they don't really reach where the bend is. Of course, you can also just plug it in from the other end, but that meets with much more resistance. In any case, I think it's my fault for not measuring or accounting for the length of the straw, so just make sure other potential buyers are aware. They've found a better target - to free my partner's pipe.
