I have worn the NMD R2 for several years and it has been the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. It looks like they don't make them anymore so I figured the R1s should be the same or even better since they still make them. Although they are missing for me. I found the shoes to be small. I think it's because the tongue connects directly to the rest of the shoe on the sides. The R2 doesn't have them and they add extra space. I believe this makes the shoe safer but reduces comfort. BOOST itself is also a lot less convenient. I'm sure there's a reason R1s are still being made and R2s aren't. But I had to send them back and look for other shoes.
