This case protects the keyboard from dirt really effectively. It fits very well - it will lie more evenly in a few days. I've been using it for about a year and have found that a few tiny particles can slip under the edges but are fairly easy to see and remove before they get into the cracks. Leather isn't micro-thin and isn't as easy to type as bare keys, so it takes a bit of getting used to. But it's worth it so the shit doesn't get in the keyboard. I took off a star because of an annoying thing - I bought the clear version and it went dark on some of the keys making it look a bit smudged. The leather is washable, but no matter what detergent I use, nothing will remove the dark stains. When you hold the leather up to the light you can barely see the discoloration, but when you put it back on the stains on the white keyboard really stand out. So if I ever buy one again, I'll probably get one of the tinted versions.
