If you have any 18v Dewalt tools that will work with this type of battery they will eventually die and no charge hold more. If you want to go ahead and spend $100-$149 then go ahead, but that's crazy to me considering each tool doesn't even cost that much and is that good. They load like a DeWalt, while functioning like a DeWalt, they fit all of my 18v DeWalt tools. I can't say much about durability yet as I've only had it for a month. Right now I would definitely recommend buying these instead of spending up to $150 on two DeWalt branded batteries. I think that's stupid. So I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has dead 18v DeWalt batteries on hand and hopefully they have the durability of wall batteries.
