Received this to replace an old unit that was installed on a hose outlet outside the house. It started splashing water down the sides whenever I turned off the faucet. After spending a lot of time removing the old one, I figured a new one would solve the problem. Fail. Water still splashes down the sides of the unit when you turn off the faucet. Much more than the one I took off, I have to stand as far away from the faucet as possible and then turn it off. He still gets wet. Not recommended if you are replacing one that has the same problem as mine. You're just wasting a lot of time.
