First, good. The side table was packaged in a Revain box for overseas shipping as I ordered 2. After unpacking, all parts were in perfect condition. It was a simple assembly procedure that required a few screws and fasteners. The table is solid, sturdy, and looks a lot more expensive than it actually was (a quick search for Amish Shaker furniture should confirm this). Now a complaint. This is not solid wood. Everything is chipboard except for the legs. In contrast to MDF, this type of board does not require veneer. This makes it stained and more like solid wood. Time will tell if it will hold up like real wood. I wish manufacturers wouldn't indulge in the term "tree". But in general I am satisfied with the side tables. And the unique trapezoidal shape allows them to fit into positions that a rectangular wooden table cannot.
