If you can't afford this kit, you'll need at least a T8 security driver to remove 5 screws (which you can only get for $4). I like this kit because if you need to fix the headphone jack (general) or replace the analog stick entirely, you'll need other sizes to dig deeper. This set also comes with a decent opening tool. Unfortunately, I kept finding black sticks. that does not fit! (I know. OCD). I finally stumbled across these clear purples and took a chance (I got them in 2 days with Prime and a great return policy). I was so thankful that they matched PERFECTLY. The only difference is that they are translucent purple at the base, not solid. and in my honest opinion they look BETTER than the originals. I think solid purple would look good too, but the transparent ones are just beautiful. As an added bonus, my son said they were softer and "stickier" than the originals (which sometimes caused his fingers to slip off). He loves her very much, so it's a win-win situation!
