Worked great on the 2nd try. give it a chance
I received a new Instapot 6 Qt and the o-ring was missing. I didn't want to wait 3 weeks to get an o-ring from Instapot so I bought them and they were delivered the next day. I tried a test run with 3 cups of water. The o-ring was loose and steam was escaping around the edges of the lid. Never pushes. I waited a day and now the ring is tighter. Worked great! So if it doesn't work out the first time, give it a second chance. Costs money!
