I don't know why others say they are so sturdy. I wore them around the house for 5 hours after receiving them and found them very comfortable right away. . Needless to say, they felt great the first round I played. I ended up having to go straight to the meeting after the first round, so after a 14 hour day and four more rounds I have absolutely no problems or complaints. Normally I find fault with everything or think that there is always room for improvement. I wouldn't change a thing about these shoes
