I like this flash. This is my first flash upgrade and it's great for my use. I mainly use it for real estate lighting. In my sample image, I used Photoshop to blend the surroundings with the flash, but you can tell I'm using the flash on the light shadow on the ceiling beam. This flash has enough power to fill a room even at 1/4 or 1/2 power. The battery was enough to build a big house, but it was about half empty. After photographing a few houses with this flash, I went back to taking some shots with my flash and wondering how I ever managed to work without the amount of light this flash provides. Wonderful. The only downsides for me are the weight and the trigger system. In terms of weight, if you have a good footing, it's not a big deal. If you want to take it with you, the battery is a beast. The trigger system works great. There are no complaints, but it doesn't work very well with other systems. I used this to activate the flash triggers on my turn signals to combine them. It worked for portraits where I want to combine it with flashes. In terms of value for money, this lens is unbeatable.
