Good range and compact folding shape. and with a little modification goes from good to great. I was looking for something that would mimic real nail scratching. Out of the box, this thing has little plastic balls on the ends of each bristle (just like a comb. That's basically what it is, a hairbrush on a handle). Too boring to scratch really well, at least for me. The solution was to just snip off all those little balls with a pair of nail clippers, making the perfect back scratcher! And although this mod seemed like forever, toenail clippers can cut 3-4 pieces at a time so it only took about 10 minutes. Now I don't have to get my wife out when my back itches to keep everyone happy. One star only because it had to be changed. but after this small change, it's everything I hoped for!
