I do 3D carving on a CNC machine and it's hard to find sandpaper that can penetrate the carving details. They penetrate crevices very well, but are not so aggressive that they quickly round the edges. As mentioned before and my biggest complaint is that they wear out very quickly. For a 9 x 12 piece, the pad practically disintegrated in about five minutes. There are also a couple of Dremel grinding wheels that last a little longer, but not by much. Maybe I'll look for the same pads in bulk. I have an EZ lockout system so I'll probably have to forgo it, but it's worth it for the cost savings. They work well when hitting detailed areas.
