Review on Ready Hot 41-RH-300-F570-BN: Instant Hot Water Dispenser System with Digital Display Single Lever Hot Water Faucet in Brushed Nickel, Efficient & Convenient by Davon Clark

I installed a similar InSinkErator instant hot water dispenser + faucet in our last home. We liked the convenience (tea and cocoa) and utility (boils water faster and is great for removing stubborn food stains). But there were two problems with it: (1) Installation was painful as the faucet had to be fixed under the countertop. This meant I reached deep under the sink and awkwardly reached behind the sink to tighten the large clamp/nut. (2) The faucet, while working well, became weaker over time and an annoying "sag" in the faucet developed. handles, resulting in accidental faucet leakage. I tried tightening the small Allen screws on the back (hard to see/reach) but that didn't help. Can't comment on the durability of this pre-built hot water dispenser yet, but installation was definitely easier. insofar They have a clever system where the collar folds in half to fit through the counter opening and then pulls out with two plastic pegs before screwing it into place. Much easier and you don't have to stretch awkwardly behind the sink. The faucet looks great and appears to be very durable. The digital thermometer is great and allows for fine tuning; I definitely felt the difference between 180 and 185. The only downsides I can think of (compared to the InSinkErator device): (1) the tank is larger here, meaning it takes up more space under the sink - but not a huge difference, and (2) the faucet is definitely higher. Not a bad thing per se, but if you're looking for a smaller or slimmer faucet, this probably isn't for you. Overall very happy with this purchase. The quality is great, and considering it's about $150 cheaper than the InSinkErator block, it's really easy. Note: It is highly recommended to install the Filtrete water filtration system!
