I cannot recommend this heatsink enough if you are not interested in overclocking. It keeps my stock i7 9700k unoverclocked at a cool 75 degrees under load and only jumps to the low 80s when it's turbo. Installation was easy. The only issue I had was not being able to see the side clips when my suitcase got in the way. But they were still easy to put together, so it worked. In terms of noise levels, it's very quiet at lower fan speeds, but when things get sharp and the fan kicks in, you can definitely hear it. Keep in mind that I have a heavy case which greatly dampens the sound. However, I really don't find it that loud, even when it's running at full blast. So if you're not too sensitive to noise, you shouldn't have any problems here. All in all, this is a great and cheap heatsink that will get the job done if you don't need/want to overclock your CPU.
