Exactly what we needed.
We have a 55 inch TV in our family room off the kitchen. The TV stands on a solid base. When we sat in the breakfast area the TV was always at a bad angle. This allows us to see the news while seated in any room. It is easy to move and support the weight. The other good thing is that we have an old Bose 3-2-1 system and the DVD player was too big for IKEA lockers and too tall to sit on a TV stand. It fits perfectly in the swivel stand. Finally, he picks up the TV so that the chair doesn't get in the way while watching TV. One of those things that makes a world of difference for two elderly people.
