That works fine.

I don't usually bother to comment on products, but after reading previous posts I decided I should. The card is not bad at all for its price. I've used it on multiple systems with no problems. As with most USB devices, plug it in after the system boots and you won't have the same issues as any of the previous browsers. I've used it on Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems with no problems. I plugged it in, the operating system needed a driver, I put in the CD that came with it. It worked well. I've recorded home videos and commercial films from my VHS player without incident. I've used it many times with my camcorder with no problems. I even hooked it up to my laptop and recorded movies from my TIVO system - worked great! Another author complained that he doesn't work with Micro$oft MovieMaker. For the love of all that is decent; don't use Moviemaker; it's garbage. Don't blame the Dazzle recorder for this. The Dazzle card comes with Pinnacle Studio Express, which works great; use it. The other browser had sound problems, most likely they just needed to check the connections. I work as an IT Specialist in a US Army unit with 750 jobs and I see some of the dumbest things. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he or she just connected the RCA cables the wrong way - or didn't connect them at all. I have a complaint about this device. Pinnacle hasn't released drivers for Linux, which in my experience is vastly superior to the Windows OS, and it doesn't look like they ever put much effort into it. Fortunately, other companies have developed Linux drivers for most other Pinnacle devices. CONCLUSION: This card is worth the money if you are looking for an inexpensive video capture card with a USB connection. If you're using a desktop computer and have an empty PCI slot, I'd recommend the Hauppauge WinTV PCI Video Capture Card ($43).
