I bought this to trace patterns. I guess I should have known the difference between Standard 'smooth' and Standard 'crepe'. This one says so, I just didn't know that what I wanted was the smooth one. I am guessing that's the one with sort of a 'glossy sheen' on one side or both sides.It's still strong enough for tracing patterns. I didn't have any frustrations with ripping while handling or drawing. I am not crazy about the matt texture of this one and now I got 12 rolls of these lol but I'll keep using them for tracing patterns and perhaps for gift wrap. I'll have to think of some use. It's a better deal than buying just one roll. Fast shipping by Walmart and well packaged. .comes in a box which you can store somewhere as you need them. None of them had dents on the edges. If you want these type of paper for tracing for art or drawing, then get the smooth one as that will be easier to work with a pencil. These have too much texture and may rip under a sharp pencil. I give it four stars because the paper itself isn't bad, just my wrong choice. In about 5 years when I'm through with this package I will definitely order the smooth one.
