They are soft and flexible, so gentle.

They are soft and flexible, so they are gentle on baby's gums. My only two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: There is a slight bulge on the edge of the spoon from the mold. It's not sharp, but it's not smooth either. Because it's so soft, my son mistakes a spoon for a chew toy, and there's no way I want him to learn how to chew his cutlery. It's not a big deal as long as I'm in control, but it's not the kind of spoon I would give a toddler.
