Review on ECCPP Tensioner Sprocket Replacement Chevrolet by Don Santos

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good price but questionable quality

I ordered this timing chain kit for my 2010 Cobalt with 2.2 Ecotec engine. I ordered this kit knowing it didn't come with VVT cam gears. The price was still good. To install the balancer sprockets, use a punch to hold the sprocket in place while loosening the bolt. When tightening the exhaust sprocket bolt included in this kit, one of the teeth on the new sprocket broke off. I had to reinstall an old sprocket that was tightened well using the same technique. The price of this kit may be good, but beware of questionable build quality.
