These connectors allow me to make highly secure and conductive connections along with sealed protection all in one step. All I have to do is strip my wires about 1/2 inch each, slide the wires into the connector and heat with a heat gun. The solder melts and provides a secure and conductive connection to the wires. The protective outer heat shrink is an insulator and protector for the connection.These make for very clean, secure and safe connections that ensure for high conductivity.
